Monegasque law requires a prior legal declaration to the authorities for any pick-up carried out on the territory of the Principality. This declaration must be filed at least 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time. To guarantee this administrative requirement and ensure impeccable punctuality, we require a booking at least 12 hours in advance for any journey beginning in Monaco — hotel, private residence, Port Hercule, Yacht Club. There is no such requirement for drop-offs in Monaco: a Nice ↔ Monaco journey can be booked without advance notice, as the rule applies only to pick-ups on Monegasque soil.
