Every year, with the first snows of December, an ultra-affluent European, Middle Eastern and North American clientele leaves its villas in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Monaco and Saint-Tropez to head for the Trois Vallées, the world's largest ski domain. Eminence Prestige accompanies this winter migration between the French Riviera and Courchevel 1850 from December to April, with the same discretion as during the Riviera season.
Our long-distance service relies on chauffeurs trained in winter mountain driving, vehicles equipped with 3PMSF snow tyres and on-board chains from 15 November, and close coordination with the concierge teams at the palaces — Cheval Blanc Courchevel, Aman Le Mélézin, Les Airelles, K2 Palace. The Range Rover Vogue LWB and the Mercedes V-Class 2026 form the preferred pairing for these 425-km journeys.
Transfer Nice / Cannes → Courchevel
The Nice or Cannes → Courchevel 1850 journey covers approximately 425 km in 4h30 to 5h, via the A8 to Aix-en-Provence, the A7 towards Lyon, then the A43 and A430 to the Albertville exit and the famous RD915 Moûtiers → Courchevel with its 17 km of ascending hairpin bends. During peak season (February school holidays, Russian weeks) or in heavy snowfall, allow up to 5h30. Our chauffeurs make a scheduled comfort stop at Aix or Valence; coffee and water on board, stable 4G Wi-Fi throughout. The Range Rover Vogue LWB remains the preferred vehicle for this route: permanent all-wheel drive, ground clearance, air suspension adapted to Alpine roads. For families or groups of 4 to 6 with bulky ski equipment, the Mercedes V-Class 2026 offers unmatched boot capacity.

Two regional airports serve Courchevel: Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc (CMF), 1h45 from the resort, and Grenoble Alpes Isère (GNB), 2h00 away. Flights from Nice (NCE) to CMF exist intermittently in winter season, operated by private airlines or charter companies, but remain constrained in timetabling and luggage capacity. The majority of our UHNW clientele prefers the door-to-door private transfer from their French Riviera villa or directly from Nice airport (NCE), avoiding connections, overcrowded VIP lanes in peak season and luggage restrictions. For arrivals by private jet at Courchevel Altiport (CVF) — one of the most demanding in the world — we provide the altiport-to-palace connection in 10 minutes.
